Welcome to our Website!
Arlington Heights Junior Woman's Club just celebrated it's 75th year! I am so proud to be involved with such a longstanding organization. We truly our committed in making a difference in our community and surrounding communities!
I joined Juniors 5 years ago with a friend! Since then I have made many! I truly love Juniors....it's such a sisterhood. I have found a special bond with the women in Club. The women of Juniors are truly special. Even outside of club, for example. when my daughter's prom dress didn't fit correctly one member of Juniors made numerous trips with me and my daughter to the South side of Chicago to make sure that dress fit,, especially since prom was the next day! What support!
Now that you have found our website you might be asking yourself what this Club is all about?
First, we have fun! We do fun things together. I have such a busy life that it's nice to get out with women and talk things over and just have fun. We have enjoyed time at our Wine Tasting, the Progressive Dinner, the Road Rally and our annual Tamale Party for new members and of course our monthly meetings!
We also combine fun with our many charitable endeavors. We sponsor a Wish Tree that brings gifts to over 180 children in Wheeling Township. In February we go to Luther Village and sponsor Bingo for the senior citizens! In addition, we are currently getting ready for our children's concert with money sponsoring a local Arlington Heights family in need, the Finnerty Family. This year I am excited because our annual fundraiser is for Susan G. Komen breast cancer and also Northwest Community Hospital.
I truly believe when you give of yourself you get so much more back in return. That's what our club is about. Great women doing great things and having a great time doing so.
So check out our website or stop by one of our meetings. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month at SouthMinster Presbyterian Church (corner of Central and Dryden) in Arlington Heights. We would love to have you stop by.
